Grappling with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic over the past two years hasn’t been easy for Valley businesses trying to ensure their employees are staying mentally and physically healthy.
Even with the pandemic showing signs of waning, several businesses and nonprofits have managed to maintain strong health and wellness programs despite working remote or in hybrid situations.
On April 29, the Phoenix Business Journal will honor those businesses and organizations with a strong commitment to health and wellness at the annual Healthiest Employers awards program, again in a live online virtual format.
The awards program includes five size categories, from Micro (2 to 99 employees) to Extra Large (5,000-plus employees) categories.
The finalists for the awards were scored by an independent proprietary system that takes into account various programs and benefits offered by companies.
Here's a look at the 2022 finalists, listed in alphabetical order. The exact ranking of the winners will be revealed at this year's awards event. Follow this link to get tickets.
