Recognizing the Importance of Innovation

One of the things I love about Arizona is its people and how easy it is to make meaningful connections. The Phoenix Business Journal is one of many organizations that provides a lot of great opportunities to network, and such was the case at its 2016 Top Tech Exec Awards.I was honored to attend this fast-paced, energetic, awards ceremony and cocktail reception held at the Phoenix Art Museum and be recognized as the Technology Innovator of the Year.

Alexi Venneri is the co-founder and CEO of Digital Air Strike™.The room was filled with the best of the Valley's tech industry and it was especially rewarding to be selected as a winner from such a great group of industry veterans and visionaries. In my category, one of Arizona’s hottest small businesses, WebPT was a finalist. Large companies were also well-represented with Avnet Inc. Intel Corp. and Cancer Treatment Centers of America all putting forth candidates.Government entities such as Mesa Public Schools and the city of Avondale also showcased their innovation chops, demonstrating how technology impacts people’s everyday lives, in every sector.Read the full article here
